Our Kim family have been pretty productive this year...

Jason(Zhixiong) had his 2nd kid, a baby boy - Jayden
Wicky(Ah Ching) had his 2nd kid, a baby girl - Min Zhen
Peiching(my sis) had her 2nd kid, a baby girl - Chloe

To date, in year 2010, we will be welcoming at least 2 more babies. Junpin's (my bro) baby is due in March and I think Tricia's(Chuixia) baby is due in Feb.

News from USA

I finally got in contact with Lee Fang in the States, so happy :)

Her family and Luan's family are in Virginia, USA. Fang is married,working in Bank of America and has got a 7 year old daugther, Amanda Chok. While Luan is married too and has got two girls - Sherinne Zhang, 71/2 yrs & Elaine Zhang, 3yrs.

Fang made a great suggestion i.e. to compile all contact details so that we can keep in contact with each other and maybe we can plan our holiday to visit each other.

So, everyone who are reading this post, please email me your/your family members' contact details like address, phone numbers and email address. My email is at kimpl@hotmail.com. After I gather all details, I will email everyone a complete list.

I have another suggestion, some of us are already in Facebook and that's a great interface to stay in contact. For those who are not, do sign up at www.facebook.com. If you have problems signing up, drop me an email and I will send you an invitation.

Actually, my secret wish is that the whole KIM family can all meet and get together some time in the future. It would be great for our parents to chit-chat(all are getting in age), us to catch up and the younger generation can meet and get to know each other. Hopefully this wish will come true one day. I will work towards it, hope to get all your support if the opportunity rises...

Updates from 3rd Uncle's family

Finally, I managed to get in contact with Ah Ching and he sent me some pictures.

I think we all know that Fang and Luan are in USA, Chong is in Switzerland and Ching is in JB. A very cosmopolitan family so it will be interesting to share their family updates.

I believe most families will have to be like that in the future. The next generation cannot just stay put in one country. In order to remain competitive, they must be savvy enough to chain themselves with an international network, working and staying in different countries.

Look how far our generation have spread to, as far as Taiwan, Australia, USA and even Switzerland. The next generation will go even further, spread their wings to fly and soar...

Mum's 60th birthday

We just celebrated our mum's 60th birthday last week in 'Hu Bin' restaurant at Danga Bay. We booked a banquet room with Karaoke facilities. That's because our mum loves to sing. We discovered that our brother, Chuin Pin has inherited this secret talent of hers.

Had a great time, even dad sang his one and only song - 'Rong Su Xia' twice. Here are some pictures to share...

S'pore 2 day 1 night tour

Peili and Peichin brought the kids to S'pore for a two day one night stay recently. Programs highlights includes Sentosa, Old Airport Road Food Centre, Tiong Bahru Market, Anchorvale Sports Club and Vivio City.

Tiring for the adults...and I think the kids are the ones whom enjoy the most...

Hello...after so long

Hi all, I must apologise for disappearing for so long...got distracted...;)

All have been well for the whole family, lots of happening...

Chuin Pin got married, thanks everyone for joining in to celebrate the happy occasion!

Peipei and Jackson have gone to Melbourne, Australia to pursue their dreams, missed you guys lots, all the best!

And, we have got a latest new member's arrival to our family...En Tong(Chuin Pin's baby girl) on 22nd of August.

This year we travelled to Malacca and Genting too. Quite an experience, because during one of the trip, Xuanxuan had hand, foot, mouth disease. So poor thing! She had so much pain that she did not dare to eat at all. On some days, she only had juice or 100 Plus the whole day! Heartache... Luckily she recovered in no time and after we are back home, she's back to her usual joyful self...
